Led a 3-year R&D program at the Institute of Applied Materials Sciences, developing numerical models of fluid flow through microporous media across two applications: groundwater remediation (modeling nutrient injection and extraction) and point-of-care diagnostic membranes, simulating fluid-protein binding interactions that combine biochemistry and fluid mechanics. Supervised bachelor's and master's thesis students, and presented findings at conferences and in publications throughout the program.
